Anneli Pretorius founded Perfektum Bookkeeping Services in 2013 after relocating from South Africa to Canada, bringing with her a BCompt (Hons) in Accounting and over 25 years of experience in financial management. Specializing in supporting small to medium-sized businesses, Anneli helps clients navigate complex accounting challenges with tailored solutions designed to streamline accounting challenges.
From bookkeeping and payroll administration to crafting detailed business plans, Anneli ensures that every client receives personalized support. Her expertise extends to tax return preparation and e-filing for individuals and corporations across Canada, making her a trusted resource for financial compliance and strategy.
With a hands-on approach and a deep commitment to client success, Anneli has built lasting relationships—many of her clients have been with Perfektum since its inception. She and her team focus on managing financial matters so business owners can concentrate on what they do best - growing their businesses with confidence.
Justinus Adriaanse joins Perfektum as a Partner, bringing more than two decades of entrepreneurial and leadership experience across South Africa and Canada. His career has spanned technology, real estate, education, and retail, giving him abroad understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by growing businesses.
As CEO of Private Property, Justinus helped grow the company into one of South Africa’s leading digital real estate platforms, navigating multiple funding rounds, acquisitions, and the 2008 financial crisis. Since relocating to Canada, he has co-founded WeThinkCode_, a tuition-free coding school supporting South African talent, built Entabeni Systems, a technology platform serving independent ski resorts, and developed a portfolio of Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop franchise locations.
At Perfektum, Justinus focuses on leveraging technology to enhance the firm’s services and helping business owners use their financial information as a strategic tool. He believes that understanding the numbers behind a business is fundamental to making informed decisions and achieving sustainable growth. AtTommy Gun’s, he applies this philosophy through an open-book management approach, where team members are encouraged to understand the company’s financial performance and play an active role in its success.
With a strong belief that financial clarity creates confidence, Justinus brings an entrepreneurial perspective to Perfektum, helping both the team and its clients make better-informed business decisions and plan for the future.
With nearly a decade of public practice experience, Lesley has worked with a wide range of small and medium-sized businesses, helping them stay organized and financially confident. A Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB), she’s passionate about efficiency, accuracy, and creating systems that make bookkeeping feel effortless. Outside of work, Lesley enjoys spending time with her husband, three kids and two dogs, keeping life busy, joyful, and never dull.

As Perfektum’s Bookkeeping Manager, Dinari Botha brings over 25 years of expertise in accounting, HR, and payroll administration. Based in South Africa, she works as a consultant with flexible hours, seamlessly balancing her professional commitments with her role as a wife and mother of two.
Throughout her career, Dinari has served as a financial manager for multiple companies, honing her skills in financial oversight and business operations. She is highly proficient in leading bookkeeping platforms, including Xero and QuickBooks Online, ensuring clients receive expert guidance tailored to their needs.
Dinari’s extensive experience and deep knowledge of accounting systems make her an invaluable asset to the Perfektum team. Her commitment to efficiency and accuracy helps businesses maintain financial clarity, allowing them to focus on growth with confidence. In her role, Dinari oversees client reviews and reporting, ensures compliance with year-end procedures and adjustments, and captures critical bookkeeping data. Her expertise and dedication help keep operations smooth and efficient for both the team and clients.

Originally from South Africa, Chrizelda made Canada her home in 2020 and now resides in Ontario. She joined the Perfektum team in 2021, bringing a wealth of experience across administration, human resources, training and development, accounting, payroll, and project management. Her expertise in accounting and payroll standards across multiple industries makes her an invaluable resource for both the team and clients.
Chrizelda is dedicated to ensuring seamless operations, applying her strong analytical skills and attention to detail to every aspect of her work. Her commitment to efficiency and precision helps businesses stay on track and compliant.
Beyond her professional life, she finds joy in reading, practicing yoga, discovering new destinations, and experimenting with baking. Whether optimizing a workflow or crafting a new recipe, Chrizelda brings the same passion and creativity to everything she does.
Lizette’s journey has taken her across continents — from South Africa to Australia in 2008 and now to Maryland, USA. With a wealth of experience in administration and business management across the corporate and education sectors, she brings a dynamic, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial approach to Perfektum.
Since joining the team in 2025, Lizette has played a pivotal role in tax administration, branding, marketing, staff onboarding, and bookkeeping. Her keen organizational skills and proactive mindset help ensure smooth internal operations, a positive onboarding experience, and exceptional service for Perfektum’s clients.
Lizette is also a small business owner herself, having founded Wick & Flame, a small artisanal candle business specializing in hand-poured luxury candles. Running her own business has given her valuable first-hand insight into the realities of entrepreneurship, from day-to-day administration and marketing to customer service and business operations—perspective she brings to her work with Perfektum and its small-business clients.
Beyond work, Lizette is a devoted mum to two adult children living in Adelaide. She enjoys traveling, playing golf, and exploring her creative side through candle-making and photography, capturing life’s beautiful moments one frame at a time.
Born and raised in South Africa, Janie Jacobs moved to Alberta, Canada, in 2023 to embrace new opportunities. She joined the Perfektum team in 2024, bringing her expertise and enthusiasm for finance to her role as a bookkeeper.
With a strong background in various areas of finance, Janie thrives in the operational side of bookkeeping, where her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and interest in data science come into play. Her admin-oriented approach ensures that financial processes run smoothly and efficiently, making her a valuable asset to both the team and clients.
Outside of work, Janie is a devoted mother of three who cherishes family time. She enjoys traveling, baking, and curling up with a good book—always finding a balance between adventure and relaxation.
Niki is currently pursuing a degree in Languages and Literatures at the University of Guelph, with a particular focus on the economics of antiquity. Her academic background fuels her curiosity and commitment to learning, qualities she brings to her role as a Bookkeeper at Perfektum, which she joined in 2024. Niki is passionate about expanding her skills and contributing to both the team and client relationships. In her free time, Niki is an avid reader, a talented seamstress, and an outdoor enthusiast. She loves spending time with her family, sharing her love of classic literature, from Tolkien to Tolstoy, and introducing them to timeless literary gems.
Janika Horn recently embarked on an exciting new chapter, relocating to Dubai with her family. As a proud mom to a lively one-year-old—and with another little one on the way—she balances her professional expertise with the joys of family life.
With a strong background in administration, management, and internal sales, Janika brings a keen eye for detail and efficiency to her role at Perfektum. Her organizational skills and commitment to excellence make her a valuable addition to the team.
Janika loves creating lasting memories with her family, exploring new destinations, and embracing Dubai’s vibrant culinary scene. As the wife of a self-proclaimed foodie, she’s eager to dive into the city’s diverse flavours - an enthusiasm that seems to be rubbing off on their little one as well!
Ankie has been working in bookkeeping since 1999, across South Africa and Canada. Along the way she has held all kinds of roles from training, administration, bookkeeping, payroll, HR, controller and even managing a barbershop. This has given her a full-circle view of how a business runs. She joined Perfektum in August 2026 and is excited to learn new things and embrace change.
Originally from South Africa, she moved to Canada in 2015, first to British Columbia and then to Ontario in 2020. She's a wife and mom of two who believes in keeping a good work-life balance. Ankie loves meeting new people, hearing their stories and building relationships. She contributes to her community by volunteering in various roles.
Originally from South Africa, Christopher joined Perfektum Bookkeeping Services in 2026 while pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce through the Rotman Commerce program at the University of Toronto. With a keen interest in finance, business, and problem-solving, he brings an analytical and enthusiastic approach to his work with the team.
Christopher is passionate about continuous learning and developing practical skills alongside his academic studies. He enjoys opportunities that challenge him to think critically, explore new ideas, and expand his knowledge of business and finance.
When he’s not studying or working, Christopher enjoys reading, taking part in case competitions, and staying active through sports. His curiosity, drive, and willingness to take on new challenges make him a valuable addition to the Perfektum team.
